The Arizona Regional Extension Center (REC) is staffed by an experienced team of statewide Health IT Specialists with the knowledge and expertise to help Arizona health care providers effectively transition from paper to electronic health records (EHRs) or optimize an existing EHR system to achieve Meaningful Use.

It is the REC’s job to make sure health care providers and their staff continue practicing medicine with as little practice disruption as possible during the conversion process, while also leveraging the EHR to transform the practice in exciting new ways with benefits to providers, the office staff and patients.
